This helps to ensure that the planning process is consistent and that any changes made to the plan are done in a controlled manner. The planning time fence can be used to prevent changes from being made outside of the defined period, or to limit the amount of changes that can be made within the period.

    How to use it:
The planning time fence can be set up in the SAP system by going to the SCM-SCP module and selecting “Planning Time Fence” from the menu. From there, users can define the start and end dates for the planning period, as well as any restrictions on changes that can be made within that period. Once the planning time fence is set up, it will be enforced whenever changes are made to the plan.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up a planning time fence, it is important to consider how long it should last and what restrictions should be placed on changes within that period. It is also important to ensure that all users are aware of the planning time fence and understand its purpose.
