Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Start Mark is a feature in SAP SCM-Master Data that allows users to mark a certain point in the master data as the starting point for further processing. This feature is useful for tracking changes in the master data over time, as well as for creating a snapshot of the master data at a certain point in time.

    How to use it:
To use Start Mark, users must first select the master data they wish to mark. Then, they can select the “Start Mark” option from the menu. This will create a snapshot of the master data at that point in time. The Start Mark can then be used to track changes in the master data over time.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to note that Start Mark only works on master data that has been saved. If changes are made to the master data but not saved, they will not be included in the Start Mark snapshot. Additionally, it is important to remember that Start Mark only creates a snapshot of the master data at a certain point in time; it does not track changes over time.
