• Description: A hierarchy of product groups that can be used to create demand forecasts. A forecasting group can be used to: Assign products to the scope of a demand plan. Distinguish between products in the selection criteria for the interactive planning board. Perform a statistical forecast at the aggregated level of a forecasting group rather than the detailed level of a product. Multi-level demand plans can only be used with single-level forecasting groups. Products that are assigned to sub level forecasting groups cannot be assigned to multi-level demand plans in scope selection.
