Component: SRD-PRO
Component Name: PRO-Projects
Description: A rule that defines an individual project, which includes the time intervals and schedule for the automated creation of snapshots.
Key Concepts: A snapshot run definition (SRD) is a feature in SAP PRO-Projects that allows users to save the current state of a project and its associated data. This allows users to quickly revert back to a previous version of the project if needed. How to use it: To create an SRD, users must first select the project they wish to save. Then, they can click on the “Snapshot Run Definition” button in the toolbar. This will open a dialog box where users can enter a name for the SRD and select which data they want to save. Once the SRD is created, it can be accessed from the “Snapshot Run Definitions” tab in the project window. Tips & Tricks: It is important to note that SRDs are only available for projects that have been saved at least once. Additionally, it is recommended that users create SRDs regularly in order to ensure that their projects are always backed up. Related Information: For more information on SRDs, please refer to SAP’s official documentation on PRO-Projects.
