The planning status field can have one of four values: Planned, In Production, Released, or Obsolete. How to use it: The planning status field is used to track the progress of a product from its initial planning stages to its final production and delivery. When creating a new product, the planning status should be set to “Planned”. As the product moves through the planning process, the status should be updated accordingly. When the product is ready for production, the status should be set to “In Production”. Once the product has been released for sale, the status should be set to “Released”. If a product is no longer available for sale, its status should be set to “Obsolete”.
