  Planning status is a field in the SAP Product Master that indicates the current status of a product in the planning process. It is used to track the progress of a product from its initial planning stages to its final production and delivery. The planning status field can have one of four values: Planned, In Production, Released, or Obsolete. 
  
  How to use it: 
  The planning status field is used to track the progress of a product from its initial planning stages to its final production and delivery. When creating a new product, the planning status should be set to “Planned”. As the product moves through the planning process, the status should be updated accordingly. When the product is ready for production, the status should be set to “In Production”. Once the product has been released for sale, the status should be set to “Released”. If a product is no longer available for sale, its status should be set to “Obsolete”.

  It is important to keep the planning status field up-to-date in order to accurately track the progress of a product through its lifecycle. Additionally, it is important to note that changes made to the planning status field will affect other fields in the Product Master, such as pricing and availability.
