  • Key Concepts: 
    Delimit is a term used in SAP Organization Management (OM) to describe the process of ending an organizational assignment for an employee. This process is used to end the relationship between an employee and a particular organizational unit, such as a department or cost center. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In order to delimit an employee from an organizational unit, the user must first access the OM module in SAP. From there, they can select the “Delimit” option from the menu. This will open a window where the user can enter the employee’s ID and the organizational unit they wish to delimit them from. Once this information is entered, the user can click “Delimit” to complete the process. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When delimiting an employee from an organizational unit, it is important to ensure that all of their associated data is also removed. This includes any roles or responsibilities they may have had within that unit. Additionally, it is important to ensure that any documents or records associated with that employee are also removed or updated accordingly.
