  • Key Concepts:
A Tax Registration Number (TRN) is a unique identifier assigned to a business or individual by the government for tax purposes. In SAP, the TRN is stored in the Business Partner (BP) master data and is used to identify the BP in tax-related transactions.

    How to use it:
The TRN can be entered in the BP master data in the component SRD-MD-BP FDN-Business Partner-Basic Settings. This component can be accessed through the SAP Easy Access Menu. Once in the component, select the BP you wish to edit and enter the TRN in the appropriate field.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to ensure that the TRN is entered correctly as it will be used for all tax-related transactions. It is also important to keep the TRN up to date as any changes must be reflected in the BP master data.
