  • Key Concepts:
Relative start day is a feature in SAP Time Management that allows users to define the start day of a period relative to the current date. This feature is useful for creating recurring periods, such as weekly or monthly, that always start on the same day of the week or month.

    How to use it:
To use relative start day, go to the Time Management configuration screen and select “Relative Start Day” from the drop-down menu. Enter the desired start day and click “Save”. The period will now start on the specified day each time it is created.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up relative start days, make sure to double-check that the period is starting on the correct day. It is also important to note that relative start days are only applicable when creating new periods; they cannot be applied retroactively to existing periods.
