What is deviating accrual rate in SAP SRD-HR-TM - Time Management?

  • Description: An alternative rate, in hours or days, by which a time account is to be increased, overriding the default accrual rate configured in the time account rule.

    Deviating accrual rate is a feature in SAP Time Management that allows an employee to have a different accrual rate than the standard rate. This feature is useful for employees who have different working hours or who are on leave for a certain period of time. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To set up a deviating accrual rate, go to the Time Management configuration screen and select the “Deviating Accrual Rate” option. Enter the employee’s ID and the new accrual rate. The system will then calculate the new accrual rate for the employee. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When setting up a deviating accrual rate, make sure to enter the correct employee ID and the correct accrual rate. If you enter an incorrect value, it could lead to incorrect calculations in the system.
