    Accumulated depreciation is an accounting term used to describe the total amount of depreciation that has been recorded for an asset over its useful life. It is a non-cash expense that reduces the value of an asset on the balance sheet. In SAP, accumulated depreciation is tracked in the Fixed Assets (FA) component of the Financial Accounting (FI) module. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In SAP, accumulated depreciation is tracked in the Fixed Assets (FA) component of the Financial Accounting (FI) module. To view accumulated depreciation for an asset, go to the Asset Explorer screen and select the asset you want to view. The accumulated depreciation will be listed in the “Accumulated Depreciation” field.
