  • Key Concepts: Certificates are digital documents that are used to authenticate and secure communication between two parties. They are used in SAP systems to ensure secure communication between the system and its users. Certificates are issued by a Certificate Authority (CA) and contain information such as the identity of the certificate holder, the public key of the certificate holder, and the digital signature of the CA.
How to use it: In SAP systems, certificates are used to authenticate users and secure communication between the system and its users. To use certificates in SAP systems, users must first obtain a certificate from a Certificate Authority (CA). Once they have obtained a certificate, they can then use it to authenticate themselves when logging into the system. Additionally, certificates can be used to encrypt data that is sent between the system and its users.
Tips & Tricks: When obtaining a certificate from a Certificate Authority (CA), make sure to select one that is trusted by your organization. Additionally, make sure to keep your certificate up-to-date by renewing it when necessary.
