  • Description: Material requirements in a plant that have been summarized over a specified period and transferred as a total to materials planning MRP. The system creates a line in the requirements/stock overview for each total of summarized requirements. This can be, for example, the total requirements for one day or one week. The system summarizes according to the following criteria: Plant Date Transaction Requirement type and planning type

    Summarized requirements are a feature of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) that allow users to group together multiple requirements for a single material into one requirement. This helps to reduce the amount of data entry and makes it easier to manage the requirements. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use summarized requirements, users must first create a material master record for the material they wish to group together. Then, they can create a summarized requirement for the material by entering the quantity and date range for the requirement. The system will then automatically create individual requirements for each day within the date range.

    When creating summarized requirements, it is important to ensure that the quantity and date range are accurate. This will help to ensure that the individual requirements created by the system are accurate and up-to-date.
