Component Name: Sales and Distribution
Description: A group of countries, such as the EU, that form a unit for mutual support and joint action in economic interests.
Key Concepts: An economic bloc is a group of countries that have agreed to reduce or eliminate trade barriers between them. In SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), an economic bloc is used to define the countries that are part of a particular trading agreement. This allows for the creation of pricing and delivery conditions that are specific to the countries in the bloc. How to use it: In SAP SD, an economic bloc can be created by going to the “Define Economic Blocs” transaction code. Here, you can enter the countries that are part of the bloc and assign them a unique identifier. This identifier will be used when creating pricing and delivery conditions for the countries in the bloc. Tips & Tricks: When creating an economic bloc, it is important to ensure that all of the countries in the bloc are included. This will ensure that all of the pricing and delivery conditions created for the bloc are applicable to all of its members.
