  • Key Concepts:
Condition Index is a feature in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) that allows users to store and manage pricing conditions. It is a numerical index that is assigned to each condition type and is used to determine the order in which the conditions are applied. The condition index is also used to determine the sequence of the conditions in the pricing procedure.

    How to use it:
The condition index can be set up in the Customizing of the pricing procedure. The user can assign a numerical value to each condition type, which will determine the order in which the conditions are applied. The lower the number, the higher priority it has. For example, if two condition types have the same condition index, then the one with the lower value will be applied first.

    Tips & Tricks:
When setting up a pricing procedure, it is important to ensure that all of the condition types have unique condition indexes. This will ensure that all of the conditions are applied in the correct order. Additionally, it is important to remember that any changes made to a condition index will only take effect after a pricing procedure has been saved and activated.
