Component: SD-FT
Component Name: Foreign Trade
Description: Processed goods of the Common Agricultural Policy CAP of the European Community that contain parts or substances contained in Annex I of the EC treaty. Payment of restitution is also provided for these goods if the agricultural goods concerned have been processed and are contained in processed goods. However, restitution is guaranteed only for those agricultural raw materials that are required for the manufacture of the export goods and have their origin in an EC country. In contrast to non-Annex I goods, exporters in the EU receive 100% of the restitution rate provided for Annex I goods.
Key Concepts: Non-Annex I goods are goods that are not listed in Annex I of the European Union’s (EU) Common Customs Tariff. These goods are not subject to the EU’s Common External Tariff (CET) and are therefore exempt from customs duties. How to use it: In SAP SD-FT Foreign Trade, non-Annex I goods can be identified by their product code. This code is used to determine whether a product is subject to the CET or not. The product code is also used to determine the applicable customs duties for a particular product. Tips & Tricks: When entering a product code into SAP SD-FT Foreign Trade, it is important to ensure that the correct product code is entered. This will ensure that the correct customs duties are applied and that the product is correctly identified as either an Annex I or non-Annex I good.
