The export control class is assigned to an item in the material master record and is used to determine the applicable export control regulations for that item.
  
  How to use it: 
  To assign an export control class to an item, the user must first create an export control class in the SAP system. This can be done by navigating to the SD-FT module and selecting the “Create Export Control Class” option. Once the export control class has been created, it can be assigned to an item in the material master record. The user must enter the appropriate export control class code in the “Export Control Class” field of the material master record.
