  • Description: An international commercial term under which the seller fulfills the seller's obligation to deliver when the seller has made the goods available to the buyer on the quay wharf at the named port of destination, cleared for importation. The seller must bear all risks and costs including duties, taxes and other charges of delivering the goods. Delivered Ex Quay DEQ duty paid can only be used for sea or inland waterway transport.

    Delivered Ex Quay (DEQ) is a term used in SAP Foreign Trade (SD-FT) to describe a type of delivery in which goods are delivered to the buyer at the port of destination, with all costs and risks associated with the delivery being borne by the seller.     How to use it: 
    In SAP Foreign Trade, Delivered Ex Quay can be used as a delivery type when creating a sales order. When this delivery type is selected, the seller is responsible for all costs and risks associated with the delivery until the goods are delivered to the buyer at the port of destination. The buyer is then responsible for any additional costs or risks associated with taking possession of the goods.
