Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Week-to-months split is a feature of SAP's Integrated Business Planning (IBP) component of its Supply Chain Management (SCM) suite. It allows users to split their planning horizon into two parts: a short-term, weekly view and a long-term, monthly view. This allows users to plan for both short-term and long-term goals simultaneously.

    How to use it:
To use the week-to-months split feature, users must first create a planning area in IBP. This planning area will contain the data that will be used for the split. Once the planning area is created, users can then select the “Week-to-Months Split” option from the IBP menu. This will open up a new window where users can select the desired time frame for their split. Users can then enter their data into the appropriate fields and save their changes.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using the week-to-months split feature, it is important to remember that the data entered into each part of the split must be consistent with each other. For example, if you enter data into the weekly view, it should match the data entered into the monthly view. Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that any changes made in one part of the split will affect the other part as well.
