  • Description: An amount of material that the supplier has not yet guaranteed they can provide. For example, an order for 100 items is received. The supplier guarantees that they can provide 75 items by the desired delivery date, but their ability to fulfil the rest of the order by then is still uncertain. The unconfirmed quantity of the order is thus 25.
