  • Key Concepts:
Goods issue is a process in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) that is used to remove goods from the warehouse. It is the opposite of goods receipt, which is used to add goods to the warehouse. Goods issue is triggered when a customer orders goods from the warehouse and the warehouse needs to fulfill the order.

    How to use it:
In SAP EWM, goods issue is initiated by creating a delivery document. This document contains information about the customer, the items being shipped, and any other relevant details. Once the delivery document is created, the warehouse staff can begin picking and packing the items for shipment. Once all of the items have been picked and packed, they are ready for goods issue. The warehouse staff then confirms that all of the items have been shipped and marks them as “goods issued” in SAP EWM.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a delivery document for goods issue, it is important to double-check all of the information to ensure accuracy. This includes verifying that all of the items being shipped are correct and that all of the customer information is accurate. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all of the items have been picked and packed before confirming goods issue in SAP EWM.

    Related Information:
Goods issue is closely related to other processes in SAP EWM such as goods receipt, inventory management, and shipping. It is important to understand how these processes interact with each other in order to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Additionally, it is important to understand how SAP EWM integrates with other systems such as ERP or CRM in order to ensure accurate data transfer between systems.
