  • Description: Alert for non-matching characteristic requirements and characteristic value assigments. A characteristics alert can be caused for the following planning problems: A requirements element is pegged to a receipt element with a fixed pegging relationship, although the characteristic requirements of the requirement element do not match the characteristic value assignments of the receipt element. For example, a receipt element that provides the color white is assigned to a requirements element that requires the color blue. An activity is scheduled on a resource in a block, although the characteristic requirements of the block to not match the characteristic value assignments of the activity. For example, an activity that produces the color white is scheduled in a block in which the resource is reserved for the production of the color blue.
