Component: SCM-BAS-DF
Component Name: Cross-System and Cross-Partner Document Flow
Description: A connection between two documents in a network. The link results from an action or activity during processing of a business process.
Key Concepts: A link in SAP is a connection between two documents, such as an order and a delivery. It allows for the documents to be linked together, so that changes to one document are automatically reflected in the other. In the SCM-BAS-DF Cross-System and Cross-Partner Document Flow component, links are used to connect documents from different systems or partners. How to use it: To create a link between two documents, open the document you want to link from and select the “Link” option. Then, select the document you want to link to and click “OK”. The two documents will now be linked together. Tips & Tricks: When creating links between documents, make sure that the documents are related in some way. For example, if you are linking an order to a delivery, make sure that the order is for the same product as the delivery. This will ensure that any changes made to one document will be reflected in the other.
