• Description: Time period, during which does not plan production; that is, does not create any SNP planned orders. SNP moves production to the first day after this horizon. This horizon is an extension of the SNP production horizon. However, in contrast to the SNP production horizon, the user can manually create SNP planned orders in this extended horizon in interactive Supply Network Planning.

  Extended SNP Production Horizon is a feature of SAP Supply Network Planning (SNP) that allows users to plan production activities over a longer period of time. This feature enables users to plan production activities for up to 12 months in advance, allowing them to better anticipate and respond to changes in demand. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To use the Extended SNP Production Horizon feature, users must first set up the planning horizon in the SNP configuration. This can be done by navigating to the “Planning Horizon” tab in the SNP configuration and setting the “Planning Horizon” field to 12 months. Once this is done, users can then use the Extended SNP Production Horizon feature to plan production activities for up to 12 months in advance. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When using the Extended SNP Production Horizon feature, it is important to remember that it is only applicable for production activities that are planned in advance. If production activities are planned on a shorter timescale, then the Extended SNP Production Horizon feature will not be applicable.
