  • Key Concepts:
Offset time is a feature in SAP's Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (SCM-APO-PPS) component that allows for the scheduling of production activities to be shifted in time. This feature is useful when there are delays in the production process, as it allows for the production activities to be shifted to a later time without disrupting the overall production plan.

    How to use it:
Offset time can be used by selecting the “Offset Time” option in the SCM-APO-PPS component. This will open a window where you can enter the amount of time you want to shift the production activities. Once you have entered the desired offset time, click “OK” to apply the changes.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using offset time, it is important to consider how much time you are shifting the production activities. If you shift them too much, it could disrupt the overall production plan. It is also important to consider how much time you have available for the offset, as this will determine how much of an impact it will have on the overall production plan.
