  • Key Concepts:
Soft-up split is a feature of the Flexible Order Transactions (FOT) component of SAP's Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) module. It allows users to split an order into multiple parts, each with its own delivery date. This allows for more efficient order management and better customer service.

    How to use it:
To use the soft-up split feature, users must first create an order in the FOT component. Once the order is created, users can select the “Split” option from the menu. This will open a window where users can specify the number of parts they want to split the order into, as well as the delivery dates for each part. Once all of the details are entered, users can click “OK” to complete the split.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using the soft-up split feature, it is important to remember that each part of the order must have its own delivery date. If multiple parts have the same delivery date, they will be treated as one order and will not be split. Additionally, it is important to note that orders cannot be split after they have been created.
