  • Description: Priority that the SNP optimizer assigns to the various demand types such as customer demand, corrected demand forecast, and demand forecast. Customer demand, for example, has priority 1.

    Priority class is a feature of the SAP SCM-APO-OPT Optimization component that allows users to assign different priorities to different orders. This allows users to prioritize certain orders over others, ensuring that the most important orders are processed first.

    Priority classes can be assigned to orders in the SAP SCM-APO-OPT Optimization component. To do this, users must first create a priority class in the system. Once the priority class has been created, it can be assigned to an order by selecting it from a drop-down menu. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When assigning priority classes to orders, it is important to consider the order’s importance and urgency. For example, if an order is urgent and needs to be processed quickly, it should be assigned a higher priority class than an order that is not as urgent.
