Component: SCM-APO-INT
Component Name: Interfaces
Description: A record that is written by CIF error processing for objects that could not be posted to the target system due to an error. Dependent postprocessing records Postprocessing records are not only written for objects that trigger an error, but also for objects that are not posted because they are in the same qRFC LUW as the object that triggered the error. The postprocessing records that were generated in the same qRFC LUW are identified as dependent postprocessing records. Prerequisite postprocessing records You can display and process postprocessing records in CIF postprocessing. For this, objects must be retransferred in the same sequence as in the original transfer. When you select an object to be transferred for a postprocessing record, the system selects all postprocessing records already generated for this object at an earlier point in time. The postprocessing records that were generated earlier and all dependent postprocessing records that is, those generated in the same qRFC-LUW
Key Concepts: A postprocessing record is a type of interface record in SAP SCM-APO-INT. It is used to store the results of an interface run, such as the number of records processed, the number of errors, and the time taken for the run. It also stores information about the interface itself, such as its name, type, and status. How to use it: Postprocessing records are created automatically when an interface run is completed. They can be viewed in the Interface Monitor (transaction code /SAPAPO/IFMON) or in the Interface Log (transaction code /SAPAPO/IFLOG). The postprocessing record can be used to troubleshoot any errors that occurred during the interface run. Tips & Tricks: When troubleshooting an interface run, it is important to check both the postprocessing record and the interface log. The postprocessing record will provide information about the overall status of the run, while the interface log will provide more detailed information about any errors that occurred.
