The planning run type also determines which parameters will be used for the planning run, such as the time horizon and the planning strategy.
    How to use it: In order to use a planning run type in SAP APO, it must first be created in the system. This can be done by navigating to the “Planning Run Type” tab in the “Enhanced Maintenance and Service Planning” component of SAP SCM-APO-EMS. Once created, the planning run type can then be selected when executing a planning run.
