  The planning horizon is set in the EMS component of SCM-APO. To set the planning horizon, go to the “Planning Horizon” tab in the EMS component. Here, you can enter the start and end dates for your plan. You can also specify whether you want to use a fixed or rolling planning horizon.

  When setting your planning horizon, it is important to consider how long you need your plan to cover. If you are creating a plan for a short-term project, then a shorter planning horizon may be more appropriate.
