• Description: Characteristics combinations that are created so that a product allocation does not have to be defined for each specific characteristics combination for example, customer A receives 20%, customer B 20%, and 60% should be used as collective product allocations for the remaining customers. The system searches for collective product allocations, if the particular characteristics combination from the sales order is not found in the characteristics directory. The system fills one of the characteristic values using the wildcard character, and checks the characteristics directory again. The system fills the characteristics consecutively using the wildcard character until a valid characteristics combination is found.
