What is snapshot in SAP SBO - SAP Business One?

  • Description: A user-defined collection of query results from about a particular business partner or contact person. A snapshot can be saved to a Microsoft Outlook contact during a data synchronization run.

    A snapshot in SAP Business One is a feature that allows users to save a copy of their data at a certain point in time. This feature is useful for tracking changes in the system, as well as for creating backups of the data.
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a snapshot, users must first select the database they wish to save. Then, they can select the “Snapshot” option from the menu. This will open a window where users can enter a name for the snapshot and select the date and time they wish to save it. Once this is done, users can click “Save” to create the snapshot.
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    It is important to note that snapshots are not automatically created. Users must manually create them in order to save their data at a certain point in time. Additionally, it is recommended that users create snapshots regularly in order to ensure that their data is backed up and secure.
