What is filter axis in SAP SBC - Shared Business Components?

  • Description: You can sort data to be displayed in a chart according to a specific dimension's members. For example: You add three dimensions to a report: Buyer, Supplier Diversity, and Calendar Year. In the chart editor you choose to display the dimensions on legend; Buyer is taken as the Group, Supplier Diversity as the Series, Calendar Year is displayed as a possible filter for the chart - selecting 2009 from the dropdown for the dimension displays different data to 2010. If you choose to display measures on legend and you have added more than one dimension; the additional dimensions are displayed as filters.
