• Description: Regulation of the inspection scope for a sequence of inspection lots - with regard to the inspection characteristics and sample sizes - so that a predefined quality target can be reliably achieved. In the SAP system the dynamic modification rules and the results of the previous inspection lot determine the inspection stages for the next lot. The stages are then defined in the quality level. The valuation of the inspection lot or individual inspection characteristics controls the stage changes. Dynamic modification can therefore either be lot-based or characteristic-based.
