What is catalog profile in SAP QM - Quality Management?

  • Description: A combination of code groups from several catalogs. A catalog profile is defined in Customizing and then assigned to the notification type. It restricts the list of values for the information contained in the quality notification. A profile defined in the material master or in the report type has priority over one defined in Customizing.

Users can also link documents and other information to the catalogs by selecting the “Link Document” option.
