confidentiality level - Details

  • Key Concepts: Confidentiality level is a feature of the Quality Management (QM) component of SAP that allows users to control the visibility of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documents. It is used to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access. The confidentiality level can be set to either “public” or “confidential”.
How to use it: To set the confidentiality level for a FMEA document, go to the QM-PT-FA menu in SAP and select the “Confidentiality Level” option. From there, you can select either “public” or “confidential”. Once you have made your selection, click “Save” to apply the changes.
Tips & Tricks: It is important to remember that setting the confidentiality level to “confidential” will restrict access to only those users who have been granted permission by the document owner. Therefore, it is important to ensure that only authorized users have access to confidential documents.
