Each InfoField is part of the key that provides a complete specification of the InfoDimension, or it is an attribute, a further characteristic of the InfoDimension. Together with their keys and attributes, InfoFields form the InfoDimension and are part of the InfoStar. Each InfoDimension in the form contains the complete MetaDimension key.   InfoFields are custom fields that can be used to store additional information in the SAP Payroll (PY) component. They are used to store data that is not available in the standard fields of the payroll system. InfoFields can be used to store employee-specific information such as job titles, department numbers, or other data that is not part of the standard payroll system. 
  
  How to use it: 
  InfoFields can be created and maintained in the SAP Payroll (PY) component. To create an InfoField, go to the “InfoFields” tab in the PY component and click “Create”. Enter a name for the InfoField and select a data type (e.g. text, number, date). Once created, the InfoField can be used to store data for each employee in the payroll system. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When creating an InfoField, it is important to select an appropriate data type for the field. For example, if you are storing a date, select “date” as the data type. This will ensure that the data is stored correctly and can be retrieved accurately.
