What is in-period view in SAP PY - Payroll?

  • Description: Selection of payroll results for the in-periods from the payroll directory for example, RPCLSTRD result for Germany. The payroll results selected are those that were created in the selection period for any payroll periods.

    In-period view is a feature of the SAP Payroll (PY) component that allows users to view payroll data for a specific period. This feature allows users to quickly and easily access payroll information for a specific period, such as a month or quarter. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use the in-period view feature, users must first select the period they wish to view. This can be done by selecting the period from the drop-down menu in the payroll module. Once the period is selected, users can then view all payroll data related to that period. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When using the in-period view feature, it is important to remember that only payroll data related to the selected period will be displayed. Therefore, it is important to select the correct period before viewing payroll data. Additionally, users should also be aware that any changes made to payroll data during the selected period will not be reflected in the in-period view until after the period has ended.
