What is for-period view in SAP PY - Payroll?

  • Description: Selection of payroll results for for-periods from the payroll directory for example, RPCLSTRC periods for Switzerland. The payroll results selected are those that were created in any payroll periods for the selection period chosen.

    For-period view is a feature in SAP Payroll (PY) that allows users to view payroll information for a specific period of time. This feature allows users to quickly and easily access payroll information for a specific period, such as a month or quarter. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use the for-period view feature, users must first select the period they wish to view. This can be done by selecting the “Period” option from the drop-down menu in the PY Payroll module. Once the period is selected, users can then view all payroll information related to that period. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When using the for-period view feature, it is important to remember that only payroll information related to the selected period will be displayed. Therefore, it is important to select the correct period before viewing payroll information. Additionally, users should also be aware that any changes made to payroll information during the selected period will not be reflected in the for-period view until the next payroll run.
