What is cost accounting split in SAP PY - Payroll?

  • Component Name: Payroll

  • Description: A reference from a wage type in table RT Results Table to information on wage types for which the payroll runs using a cost center that is not the employee's usual cost center. &EXAMPLE& You pay your employee a bonus. The payroll runs for this bonus payment using a cost center that is not the cost center for the employee's basic salary. The wage type for bonus accounting, which is included in table RT, is therefore provided with a C1 split. It refers to information on the bonus payment in table C1 Cost Assignment From Various Infotypes.
