What is accumulation period in SAP PY-CN - China?

  • Description: The number of months in which the system adds together the number of days' sick leave that an employee takes. When an employee is sick, the system checks whether an employee is entitled to take sick leave by comparing the amount of sick leave expressed in terms of months that an employee has taken in the accumulation period with the amount of sick leave expressed in terms of months to which an employee is entitled in that period.

    Accumulation period is a concept used in the PY-CN China component of SAP. It is a period of time during which an employee's wages are accumulated and then paid out at the end of the period. This period can be set to any length of time, such as monthly, quarterly, or annually.
