• Description: A function for saving incomplete or incorrect purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Held purchase requisitions and purchase orders can be processed further at a later time. Held purchase requisitions are not MRP-relevant. Held purchase orders are MRP-relevant. The following functions are not possible for held purchase requisitions: Message output Release Contracts, scheduling agreements, requests for quotations, quotations, and purchase orders cannot be created with a reference to a held purchase requisition. Purchase requisitions with service items or third-party processing canno t be held. The following functions are not possible for held purchase orders: Message output Release Goods receipt posting Invoice posting Purchase orders with service items or third-party order processing cannot be held. Purchase orders that contain volume rebate conditions cannot be held.
