  • Key Concepts:
A company code group is a grouping of company codes in SAP Funds Management (PSM-FM). It is used to assign a common set of characteristics to multiple company codes, such as a common chart of accounts, currency, and fiscal year. This allows for easier and more efficient management of multiple company codes.

    How to use it:
To create a company code group, go to the Funds Management module in SAP and select the “Company Code Group” option. Enter the name of the group and select the company codes that you want to include in the group. You can then assign the common characteristics to the group, such as a common chart of accounts, currency, and fiscal year.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a company code group, it is important to ensure that all of the company codes included in the group have compatible characteristics. For example, if one company code uses a different currency than another, it will not be possible to assign a common currency to the group.
