• Description: A method in which a number of projects are summarized under one or more than one superordinate term and analyzed. You can, for example, summarize the costs of all projects in a controlling area or business area to one person responsible, and analyze them them in the project information system. The data is summarized using hierarchy structures that you define in the implementation guide. The uses the SAP classification system for this purpose. You use characteristics to define the hierarchy levels in the summarization hierarchy.
