  Role functions are used in SAP PPM-PRO Project Management to define the roles and responsibilities of each user. They are used to assign tasks and activities to users, as well as to define the access rights of each user. Role functions are also used to define the workflow of a project, such as who can approve or reject tasks. 
  
  How to use it: 
  In order to use role functions in SAP PPM-PRO Project Management, you must first create a role function. This can be done by going to the “Roles” tab in the project management module and selecting “Create Role Function”. You will then be prompted to enter a name for the role function, as well as a description of its purpose. Once you have created the role function, you can assign it to users by selecting “Assign Role Function” from the “Roles” tab.

  When creating a role function, it is important to make sure that it is specific enough so that users know exactly what their responsibilities are. It is also important to make sure that the access rights associated with each role function are appropriate for the user’s level of access.
