What is team ID in SAP PPM-PFM - Portfolio Management?

  • Description: Unique identifier for a team. When you create a team, the system either generates a unique team ID value itself or validates the value entered by the user. In both cases, the format of the ID depends on rules previously defined during backend configuration.

    Team ID is a unique identifier used in SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM-PFM) to identify a team. It is used to assign tasks and resources to the team, as well as to track the progress of the team's projects. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a Team ID, go to the Team tab in the PPM-PFM Portfolio Management component. Select the “Create Team” option and enter the required information. Once created, the Team ID will be assigned to the team and can be used to assign tasks and resources. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a Team ID, make sure to use a unique name that is easy to remember. This will help ensure that tasks and resources are assigned correctly.
