  • Key Concepts:
A bucket is a grouping of projects within a portfolio in SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM-PFM). Buckets are used to organize projects into categories, such as by type, size, or priority. This helps to quickly identify and prioritize projects within the portfolio.

    How to use it:
To create a bucket, go to the Portfolio Management tab in SAP PPM-PFM. Select the “Buckets” option from the left-hand menu. From here, you can create a new bucket by entering a name and description. You can then add projects to the bucket by selecting them from the list of available projects.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating buckets, it is important to consider how they will be used. Think about how you want to organize your projects and create buckets accordingly. For example, if you want to prioritize certain projects, you could create a “High Priority” bucket and add those projects to it.
