Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Request priority is a feature in SAP's Resource Management component of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) module. It allows users to assign a priority level to a request, which helps prioritize requests and ensure that the most important ones are addressed first. The priority levels range from 1 (highest) to 5 (lowest).

    How to use it:
To assign a priority level to a request, users must first open the request in the Resource Management component of the PPM module. Then, they can select the desired priority level from the drop-down menu. Once the priority level is selected, it will be applied to the request and will be visible to all users who have access to the request.

    Tips & Tricks:
When assigning priority levels to requests, it is important to consider the urgency of the request and how quickly it needs to be addressed. For example, requests that are time-sensitive or have a high impact should be given higher priority levels than those that are less urgent or have a lower impact.
