Stock Champion - Details


  • Key Concepts: Stock Champion is a feature in SAP Production Planning and Control (PP) that allows users to assign a responsible person for each material. This person is known as the Stock Champion and is responsible for monitoring the stock levels of the material and ensuring that it is kept at an optimal level.
    How to use it: To assign a Stock Champion, go to the PP module in SAP and select the “Stock Champion” option. From there, you can select the material for which you want to assign a Stock Champion and enter the name of the person who will be responsible for it. Once this is done, the Stock Champion will be notified of any changes in stock levels for that material.
    Tips & Tricks: It is important to keep in mind that assigning a Stock Champion does not automatically guarantee that stock levels will be kept at an optimal level. The Stock Champion should be regularly monitored and given feedback on their performance in order to ensure that stock levels are kept at an acceptable level.
