  • Key Concepts:
Order Change Management (OCM) is a component of the SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Orders (SFC) module. It enables users to manage changes to production orders, such as changes in quantity, material, or operations. OCM also allows users to track the progress of changes and view the history of changes made to production orders.

    How to use it:
To use OCM, users must first create a change request for the production order. This can be done by selecting the “Create Change Request” option from the menu. Once the change request is created, users can enter the details of the change and submit it for approval. Once approved, the change will be applied to the production order.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a change request, it is important to provide as much detail as possible about the change being requested. This will help ensure that the change is approved quickly and accurately. Additionally, it is important to keep track of all changes made to production orders in order to ensure that they are up-to-date and accurate.
