Component: PP-MRP
Component Name: Material Requirements Planning
Description: A filter consisting of time information, MRP elements, and MRP segments. The filter controls the display of the MRP list and the stock and requirements list. The system displays MRP elements only in the time period defined in the display filter. Within this period, the system displays only the segments selected in the display filter. Within the segments, the system displays only the MRP elements that are selected in the display filter and that correspond to additional selections, for example, customer, vendor, or storage location. This reduces the data in the list to a clear selection. In contrast to a selection rule, the calculation of the quantity available and the ranges of coverage is not affected by display filters.
Key Concepts: Display filter is a feature in SAP PP-MRP Material Requirements Planning that allows users to filter the data displayed in the MRP list. This feature allows users to quickly and easily find the data they need without having to scroll through the entire list. The display filter can be used to filter by material, plant, MRP controller, MRP type, and more. How to use it: To use the display filter, open the MRP list and select the “Display Filter” button. This will open a window with several options for filtering the data. Select the criteria you want to filter by and click “OK”. The MRP list will now only show data that matches your criteria. Tips & Tricks: When using the display filter, it is important to remember that it only filters the data that is currently visible in the MRP list. If you want to filter all of the data in the list, you will need to scroll through the entire list before applying the filter.
